About 2 years ago I wrote this post sharing a Yoga Blend recipe. Since then, I've been doing a little bit of tweaking to suit my own needs and I guess it's just about time to share some of my go-to recipes now.
I specifically use Young Living EOs for my recipes but you're definitely welcome to use other brands if that's more to your liking. No judgment here. ^_^
The recipes are all for a 5ml roller bottle so you can just adjust the drops to your liking.
Yoga Blend No. 1
- 3 drops Peppermint EO
- 9 drops Lavender EO
- V-6 or carrier oil of your choice
Yoga Blend No. 2
- 5 drops Eucalyptus Radiata EO
- 3 drops Lavender EO
- 2 drops Peppermint EO
- sunflower oil, VCO, or carrier oil of your choice
This blend has been my go-to when I feel like DIY-ing. The addition of Eucalyptus Radiata added an extra dimension to the blend. I originally found this on Pinterest but it only said "eucalyptus". So among the 3 YLEOs that's eucalyptus, I chose Eucalyptus Radiata since it was said to be one of the mildest, scent-wise.
Yoga Blend No. 3
- 60 drops Deep Relief
- 10-12 drops Copaiba EO
YL's Deep Relief Roll-On is already more than enough as a Yoga / Workout Blend. It already has Copaiba in the original recipe but I find that adding a few more can definitely ease discomfort in areas that just tend to act up. I use this especially for shoulders, shoulder joints, knees, and wrists.
You'll notice that I didn't put in any carrier oil. That's because Deep Relief Roll-On and even the dropper bottle version already contain some carrier oil. Of course, you're welcome to lessen the drops and add carrier oil if you want to dilute the blend a little more.
So far, these are my go-to recipe blends. Lately, I'm more inclined to just use Deep Relief Roll-On on its own and then layer it with a few drops of Copaiba EO neat.
Try these recipes out for yourself and tell me how it goes!
PS: You can get up to 5 Yoga Blends from me if you book a private Yoga session with me. You can also shoot me a message if you want me to make one for you. ^_^
